About Valle Nevado
Valle Nevado is an upmarket resort with a quaint village. Located in the heart of the Andes this ski area receives an average of 7 metres of snow a season and 2,225 acres of accessible terrain.
Valle Nevado is interlinked with the resorts La Parva and El Colorado and can be accessed on the same lift pass. Accommodation requires a 7 night stay from Friday to Friday, however shorter stays may be permitted depending on the season.
Accommodation
On-mountain lodging at Valle Nevado is limited and not suited to budget conscious travellers. Packages are typically all includisve with breakfast, apres ski and dinner included. During the peak season (July) the minimum night stay is 7 nights, there is more flexibility during shoulder season (early June and Late August-September).

How to get there
Fly
The Santiago International Airport (SCL), Comodoro Arturo Merino Benítez Airport, is the main gateway airport for Portillo. Direct flights are available from Sydney, flight time is approximately 12 hours.

Drive
The travel time from the Santiago airport to Valle Nevado is about 1 hr 15 min, although this can vary due to road conditions and traffic, make sure you allow plenty of time to travel before catching your return flight. Transfers are available from the airport and are the recommended method of travel to Valle Nevado.
