Lake Louise Ski Resort is the largest ski area, offering 4,200 acres, and is also one of the most photographed destinations in the Rockies due to the uniquely beautiful terrain. It’s a 45-minute drive from Banff but is worth it for the vast and varied terrain.

Ski Banff Sunshine with over 3,300 acres of terrain and the novel opportunity to ski or ride in both the province of Alberta and British Columbia on the same run. This area is renowned for receiving the most snow of the three ski areas.

Mt. Norquay is often referred to as ‘the local’s mountain’ because of its proximity to the town. While this area may be the smallest, it offers terrain for all levels and night skiing, including the only lit terrain park in North America.
