Sun Peaks

About Sun Peaks

Sun Peaks, the second-largest ski area in Canada, basks in abundant sunshine between regular dry snowfalls. Nestled within a charming, ski-in/ski-out village, it boasts three mountain peaks with a diverse terrain range, including two alpine bowls, gentle green and blue runs, challenging steeps, and gladed stashes laden with powder.

This resort truly offers something for everyone, renowned for its family-friendly atmosphere. Sun Peaks hosts a variety of activities catering to the young (or young at heart), such as dogsledding, tubing, snowmobiling, ice skating, and sleigh rides, among others.

Sun Peaks Resort has announced a notable addition for the 2024-25 winter season: the West Bowl Express, a brand-new, high-speed detachable quad chairlift opening in the alpine.

As its name suggests, the West Bowl Express will be situated in the West Bowl area of Mt. Tod. This new quad chairlift aims to enhance access to this beloved area of the resort, renowned for its quality snow and scenic vistas.
