Cardrona:
Founded in 1980, Cardrona welcomes skiers and snowboarders of all ages and ability levels - from first-timers and families, to Olympic and X Games athletes. Cardrona is renowned for wide, open slopes that are home to some of New Zealand’s best learner facilities, and the Southern Hemisphere’s most extensive terrain parks and halfpipes. Cardrona's Terrain Parks are the home of the NZ Park and Pipe Team.
In 2025, we’ll be skiing and snowboarding in the Soho Basin! A brand new 6-seater detachable Doppelmayr chairlift ready to open for Winter '25. Soho is just behind the top of McDougall's Chondola and Captain's Express. It'll be awesome for intermediate to advanced skiers and riders.
Treble Cone:
Treble Cone is the home of skiing in Wanaka, founded back in 1968 by local ski enthusiasts. Famed for its challenging steeps, natural halfpipes, and legendary off-piste terrain, Treble Cone sits firmly on the bucket lists of most intermediate and advanced skiers and snowboarders. Treble Cone has one of the world’s best skiing backdrops, with breathtaking views of Lake Wanaka and the Matukituki Basin.

Lowriders (snowboarders from 7yrs) are full-day group lessons that run every week of the winter season on Mondays to Thursdays. The kids spend the week in the same group, with the same instructor. Lunch is included & the kids can even get fitted out with rental gear in their very own hangout zone – The Den!
