UTAH
About Utah
Utah. The destination where you can find The Greatest Snow on Earth®. And no, we aren’t exaggerating, the powder in Utah has literally been trademarked The Greatest Snow on Earth®!
The climate in Utah means that 99% of the precipitation that falls during the ski season falls the form of snow, and is always the perfect density. Not only is the snow the greatest, but there’s a lot of it too! Utah averages a massive 13 meters of snowfall each season, meaning the powder days are aplenty. The season is long, with spring snow that would rival the heart of winter in other parts of the world. Plus with nearly 300 days of sunshine a year you are very likely to score a bluebird powder day or two in a week.
As if the snow wasn’t enough to draw you in, Utah is famous for its landscapes. In the south of the state is The Mighty 5 National Parks of Utah – Zion, Bryce Canyon, Arches, Canyonlands, and Capitol Reef. Combine your ski trip with a visit to one (or all) of these seriously impressive national parks. Hiking through these iconic parks you will feel as though you’ve left Earth and landed on Mars. The Mighty 5 are a truly once in a lifetime thing to see.
