PALISADES TAHOE

Palisades Tahoe, formerly known as Squaw Valley, is located at the end of a stunning alpine valley cradled by six high Sierra peaks nestled between Truckee and Tahoe City on the North Shore of Lake Tahoe. Unique among American ski resorts, Palisades Tahoe offers thousands of acres of open bowl skiing rather than traditional ski trails.

This resort offers powder AND sun, with over 300 days of Californian sunshine. It often dumps overnight in Tahoe and the snow continues late in the season making Palisades Tahoe a great option for spring skiing or a trip over Easter.

Accommodation

All Palisades Tahoe accommodation is located close to the slopes making it a great option for families or groups. The village itself has a range of shops, bars and restaurants to cater to all tastes.

“As a former Olympic host ski resort, this mountain definitely has the goods.”
