Location
The Westin Rusutsu Resort is perched atop a high plateau surrounded by the glorious Shikotsu-Toya National Park, encompassing the two enormous caldera lakes of Shikotsu and Toya as well as the distinctive peak of Mt.Yotei. Rusutsu is a treasure trove of activities in the great wilderness of Hokkaido all year round, with skiing in snow as far as the eye can see in winter, and golf, canyoning and other outdoor pursuits from spring onwards. Just a 90-minute bus ride from both Shin Chitose Airport and Sapporo, access could not be more convenient.

A striking, stand-alone building, the hotel is spread over 23 floors with 210 spacious guest rooms, The sophisticated interior design was inspired by the nature of Hokkaido, and the vistas from the windows of the vast wilderness of Hokkaido are simply breathtaking.
