Sun Peaks, the second-largest ski area in Canada, basks in abundant sunshine between regular dry snowfalls. Nestled within a charming ski-in/ski-out village, it boasts three mountain peaks with diverse terrain, including two alpine bowls, gentle green and blue runs, challenging steeps, and gladed stashes laden with powder. Renowned for its family-friendly atmosphere, Sun Peaks offers a variety of activities catering to all ages, such as dogsledding, tubing, snowmobiling, ice skating, and sleigh rides.

For the 2024-25 winter season, Sun Peaks Resort has announced the West Bowl Express, a brand-new high-speed detachable quad chairlift in the alpine. Located in the West Bowl area of Mt. Tod, this new lift aims to enhance access to this beloved part of the resort, known for its quality snow and scenic vistas.
