Steamboat
What is it that keeps people (us included) coming back to Steamboat, Colorado? It could easily be the famous Champagne Powder®, or maybe the western atmosphere and genuine friendliness that comes with any trip to Steamboat. It might be that it ranks as one of America's top family resorts or the top notch culinary experiences on offer. If there was an 'all of the above' option we'd select that.
Steamboat offers nearly 3000 acres of skiable terrain across six peaks. You’ll find amazing tree skiing, a dedicated learner’s area and steep areas over the back of the mountain for those looking to test their skills. A free shuttle will take you from the mountain or your accommodation into the cowboy town where you can find a number of bars, boutiques and galleries to explore.
Steamboat shares a lift pass with Winter Park, making it a great dual-resort holiday in Colorado.
Known for:
- Family friendly
