Package Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Yellowknife & Nighttime Aurora Hunting
Get picked up from your Yellowknife hotel or right from the airport to be dropped off at the hotel.
Once night falls, leave the city lights behind and venture out into the vastness of the Northwest Territories, spending chasing the aurora borealis and fueling up with snacks and warm drinks for 4 hours.
Day 2: Yellowknife Sightseeing Tour & Aurora Village
Set out in the morning for a comprehensive sightseeing tour of Yellowknife, checking out historic sites and natural landmarks. In the evening, get picked up for the short ride to Yellowknife's beautiful Aurora Village. Savor a delicious 3-course dinner at the lodge, and then cozy up in a heated tee-pee as night settles in.Watch the sky into the wee hours for the shimmering, colorful hues of the Northern Lights.
Day 3: Dog Sledding Tour & Nighttime Aurora Hunting
During the day, venture out to a dog sledding kennel, where you can meet and play with the friendly team of sled dogs—defending champions of the Canadian Dog Derby. Go for a thrilling ride along the snowy tracks, and learn about training and racing from the professional dog musher. At the end of tour your driver will drop you back to hotel to rest up for your nighttime excursion, which takes you out to track down the Northern
Lights once again.
Day 4: Check-Out
Check out of the hotel and get dropped off at the airport in Yellowknife.
