Big White is all about providing a family friendly experience, that’s one of the reasons kids aged 12 & under ski FREE! This resort has terrain to suit all levels and abilities in your family, we also love the fact that the village is ski-in/ski-out meaning that you won’t need to carry your kids’ skis far. If you need a rest day there are plenty of activities to keep the young (and young at heart) entertained – we can recommend tubing, ice-skating and horse-drawn sleigh rides to name a few.

Steamboat is a welcoming western town where you’ll find cowboys, horses and friendly locals aplenty. The resort has an outstanding kids ski program and kids 12 & under ski FREE! We also love the huge range of non-ski activities on offer, horseback riding and Strawberry Park Hot Springs are two of our favourites.

Niseko
Niseko is a small village with easy access to the mountains wherever you stay – bottom line? You never have to carry the kids’ skis far. Niseko is more westernised than the other Japanese resorts so English is common everywhere, especially in the ski schools. The village has a lot of apartment style accommodation, giving families an easy option to stay together with lounge and kitchen facilities.

Thredbo is Australia’s favourite alpine resort, nestled in the heart of the Snowy Mountains in Kosciuszko National Park. Thredbo has something for everyone - skiers, snowboarders, sightseers, snowballers and snowman builders. We love it because of the friendly staff and awesome snow school programs for beginners looking to find their feet in the snow.
