Sun Peaks is the 2nd largest ski area in British Columbia and with abundant sunshine between regular dry snowfalls, this makes Sun Peaks a great ski holiday destination. Its reputation for reliable snow conditions has been proven over 40 years of operations. Sun Peaks is a charming, family friendly village with three mountain peaks featuring 3,678 skiable acres including 122 runs and 12 gladed areas!
Enjoy a variety of terrain: two alpine bowls, cruising green and blue runs, steep and deep, and gladed stashes loaded with powder. Green, blue, and black runs can be accessed from the top of every chairlift, allowing everyone to choose their favourite run and meet back at the bottom of the chairlift.
Sun Peaks also offers a variety of activities for everyone – dogsledding, tubing, snowmobiling, ice skating and sleigh rides, just to name a few.
At the centre of it all is the ski-in, ski-out alpine village where you can choose from a wide variety of package accommodation options. From lodges to condominiums, they are all within a short distance of the slopes.
The Snowsports School has programs and lessons for all ages and abilities, plus a childminding centre for kids up to 5 years. A great way to learn the mountain is to meet up with a ‘Sun Guide’ for a complimentary mountain tour available twice daily.
